The internet has transformed greatly sense it has been invented. The first person to use the internet was a student at UCLA named Charlie Kline on October 29, 1969. The internet was mainly designed to provide a communcation network that would work even if some of the sites were destroyed by nuclear attack. For the most part, the early internet was used by computer experts, engineers, scientists and librarians. There werent any home or office computers back then, and anyone was allowed to use it as long as they learned how to use the complex system.

Mobile devices have also made a huge advancement since they first came out. I remember the first phone my mom got. It was a square Nokia phone and i always stole it from her so i could play the snakw game that came on the phone. Now i have an Iphone that stores my music, videos, you can download almost anything from Itunes aps, and you can go on the internet with almost any kind of phone now. The "smart phones" can basically do anything for you now.

Television is yet another big source of media that has advamced over the years. The obvious use of television is to watch shows for enjoyment, or to watch the sport you like to watch. However, it is also a good form of media and communication. For example, if the president needs to make a speech, he interupts our shows we were watching, and says a speech about the problem at hand. Its a way to see news conferences from your favorite sports players, and also to watch late night talk shows to get their opinions on whats going on in the world. Televisions have also advanced in style also. There no longer is the huge box on the back of your tv, there are flatscreens, plasmas and even 3d tv's now.
